Shelly began a career in accounting at a major international media company listed on the London Stock Exchange, gaining valuable experience in corporate finance within a global business environment. Transitioning into the manufacturing and retail sector, Shelly joined a privately held drinkware company as a Financial Analyst and steadily rose through the ranks over an 11-year tenure—serving as Manager, Controller, Vice President, and ultimately Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Shelly played a pivotal role in leading a comprehensive company restructuring, streamlining financial operations, and positioning the business for long-term stability.
Following this, Shelly founded Farrell Financial Services, a consulting firm dedicated to advising organizations on complex financial challenges and strategic initiatives. Through Farrell Financial, Shelly has partnered with private companies, public enterprises, and non-profits to deliver impactful results in areas such as debt restructuring, cost optimization, and growth strategy.
Beginning a career in public auditing, Craig spent three years auditing private companies across manufacturing, retail, and construction sectors. This early foundation provided a strong understanding of diverse business models and financial frameworks.
Craig then transitioned into the corporate world as a Lead Accountant for a major UK-based publishing company listed on the London Stock Exchange. Over the course of 20 years, Craig led shared service operations across the US and UK, driving cross-border efficiencies and overseeing complex financial systems.
As CFO of a publicly traded publishing firm for 10 years, Craig guided the company through strategic transformations, financial restructuring, and consistent growth. Most recently, as Vice President and Controller of the Americas division, Craig managed a diverse portfolio including conferences, exhibitions, media, and publishing, bringing financial leadership to a broad range of high-impact businesses.
